This is the building containing Flinders Street, Railway Station The Station is in the city of Melbourne. Melbourne is a city loved by lots of people who live in Melbourne, people who live all over Victoria, people from all other cities in Australia, people from all over Australia and people from all over the world. Melbourne population is increasing every week. it is a city where people like to live. I have lived in Melbourne for most of my life and love the place. The only people who may at times have some criticism are the people from Sydney, I think they are just jelous.
The top picture is part of the piazza of the town where I was born. There is the Town Council Building with the hills of Aruso and Agristino in the background. The fountain (zampillo) which is not functioning for lack of water at the time(Summer)and the monument which contains the names of all the young men lost in the 1st and 2nd world wars. A little section of the Fiume Amello (River Amello) can be seen. The fiume Amello crosses the centre of the town.
ReplyDeleteLa foto in cima e' parte della piazza di Acquaro, il paese dove io sono nato. C'e' il Municipio che dietro si vedono i colli verdeggianti di Aruso e Agristino. Nella piazza sono in vista la fontana (Zampillo) che non e' funzionante per credo scarsezza di acqua durante l'estate e il monumento che contiene i nomi di tutti i giovani acquaresi che hanno perso la loro vita per la patria, la nostra Italia durante le due guerre mondiali. Si vede anche un po' del fiume Amello che al momento scorre poca acqua. Il fiume attraversa al centro di Acquaro.
